What is it?
A dataset showing forecast spare energy capacity at primary substations. It uses Red, Amber, Green (RAG) ratings to indicate predicted headroom across future years.


How is it useful?
Use it to understand how capacity may change over time and where constraints could emerge. It helps you plan ahead for EV charging, identify locations that can support future demand, and align infrastructure plans with expected growth. It can support long-term EV rollout strategies, target investment and strengthen evidence for funding and business cases.
