What is it?
The Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure (EVCI) Framework Visualiser shows current and future demand for EV chargepoints across the North. It uses regional data and transport modelling to show where EV uptake is growing and what charging infrastructure will be needed. The tool includes information on chargepoint numbers, charging power demand, access to off‑street parking and future EV adoption, and also covers England outside London.

The visualiser helps local authorities, government and delivery partners compare areas, understand local charging needs and plan EV infrastructure with confidence.
