Carbon Baseline Dashboard

What is it?
The Carbon Baseline Dashboard shows past and future road transport emissions across the North. It lets you see how emissions and traffic levels change under different decarbonisation scenarios, and how factors like more walking, cycling and public transport could affect the results. You can explore emissions by vehicle and fuel type, trip length and time period, plus maps showing emissions down to ward level and destination analysis of travel patterns.

How is it useful?
Use the dashboard to understand the carbon impact of local plans and policies, compare scenarios and test which actions could cut emissions most. It gives combined authorities a consistent evidence base for investment decisions, funding bids and business cases—helping target interventions where they will have the greatest effect.
